I love the break! I've had a lot of time to spend on personal hobbies. I discovered a hidden treasure this week: craft/sewing blogs. They have such fun little projects to do to make pretty things! I just love that idea. I learned how to make my own flower pins:

And, a personal favorite, how to improve $6 wal-mart slippers. Definitely will be doing this soon:

I also discovered the joys of Etsy! They have lots of fun homemade and vintage stuff to buy, like jewelry, accessories, and other cutesy things. You can also sell on there, which I might be tempted to start doing, if my little projects turn into successes...
I forgot how much I love sewing projects. I think that will be one of my goals for next summer, once I get through this semester. It's always good to have a project going to do in your relaxation time, too. I love it.
